Waffles

1 ¾ cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
3 eggs, separated
½ stick butter, melted
1 ½ cups milk

  1. Sift together dry ingredients into a large bowl.

  2. Combine butter, milk and egg yolks and mix into dry ingredients until pebbled.

  3. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold them into the batter until barely blended.

  4. Cook in a waffle iron.
